Privacy Policy
This privacy policy informs you about the nature, scope, and purpose of the processing of personal data when using Snap4K.
1. Controller
Leandro Binar, Ebersheimer Strasse 5b, 55268 Nieder-Olm, Germany, info@snap4k.com. Processing takes place exclusively under the GDPR and applicable national data protection law.
2. Server log files
When you visit the site, your browser automatically transmits data (browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname and IP address, date and time, HTTP status, amount of data transferred). Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (stable, secure operation). No merging with other sources, automatic deletion after 7 days unless longer retention is required for security or legal reasons.
3. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, the details you provide, including your email address and message content, are stored to process your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). No disclosure without your consent; deletion once the matter is resolved, subject to statutory retention obligations.
4. Contact form (if used)
Processing takes place via Netlify Forms (Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) as processor under Art. 28 GDPR. Data (name, email, message) is used solely to respond to you, with no disclosure to further third parties. Netlify processes data in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR). You may request deletion at any time by emailing info@snap4k.com. Details at netlify.com/privacy.
5. Hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (address as above, netlify.com/privacy). When you visit, your IP address and technical request data are processed on Netlify's servers. Netlify acts as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. Processing may take place in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR).
6. Video download service (core function)
When you enter a link to one of the supported platforms, that link is sent to the relevant service provider in order to retrieve the corresponding download links and technically provide the download: for TikTok to tikwm (operator of the tikwm API), for YouTube to SocialKit (operator of the SocialKit API), and for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and X to Apify (operator of the Apify platform, apify.com). Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performing the service you requested). We do not permanently store the links you enter, and they are not linked to your identity. No user accounts are created. The retrieved media files are delivered directly from their respective source servers to your device.
7. Self-hosted fonts
Fonts are loaded locally from our server or our host's CDN. No connection is made to external font providers such as Google Fonts. Your IP address is not transmitted to any third party for font purposes.
8. Cookies
Technically necessary cookies (for example, to remember your cookie choice or your theme) are used based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Optional, non-essential cookies are only set after your explicit consent via the cookie banner, in accordance with Section 25 TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
9. Analytics and advertising
No analytics or tracking tools are currently active. Should such services (for example, audience measurement or advertising like Google AdSense) be added in the future, this will only happen after prior, informed consent via the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). This policy will be updated accordingly.
10. Your rights (GDPR)
Access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21), and withdrawal of consent with effect for the future. Contact: info@snap4k.com. No automated decision-making or profiling under Art. 22.
